Zebrafish

Tanks on racks, fish as groups or individuals, matings and clutches, lines with ZFIN names, and water quality.

Tanks

New tank or Add many (consecutive IDs), on a table or a rack grid. Purposes: stock, breeding, mating, experiment, quarantine. Select tanks to set purpose or owner, move, or mark genotyping. The tank view also has the Sacrifice log.

Fish

A group with a headcount, or individuals when you need them; statuses alive, transfer, geno, sac. Move or sac a selection.

Clutches

Set up a mating: the male and female tanks, how many of each, and when they go back. Mating tanks due back show on Home until you mark them Returned. New clutch records each fertilisation.

Experiments

Fish rows, a tank's fish or a clutch's larvae under a treatment, following their survival, length or a phenotype; New experiment can start with a tank's fish. See Experiments.

Lines

Your line catalogue with ZFIN names and founders.

Water

Add system for each recirculating system, and Log reading for temperature, pH, conductivity and salinity, with a chart. Tick Raise an alarm with this reading to flag a problem.
