Using BioManager

Everything BioManager does, and how to move a lab into it: from a first launch to a whole lab on a shared server.

Your first day

Six steps, in order. New here, or coming from spreadsheets? Read Coming from Excel first: it takes ten minutes and saves you days.

1. Install BioManagerDownload, unzip and open it. On a Mac, right-click → Open the first time.2 min
2. Set up your labCreate the first account, which is the admin, and tick what your lab keeps.3 min
3. Bring your lab in from ExcelImport a sheet, and check the preview before anything is saved.10 min
4. Work in a sheetEdit in place, fill down, sort and filter.5 min
